Meeting finished at 6:30pm – Club VW is up and running, and may it last as long as the breed, with a reputation to match.

Monster’s Inc. Ride & Go Seek (10/10)  – Interactive dark ride in which guests use flashlights to trigger effects and reveal monsters. Along with Pooh’s Hunny Hunt, this is the flagship attraction at Tokyo Disneyland. Reactions to Ride & Go Seek have been somewhat mixed, but we absolutely love it and consider it in the same caliber as Hunny Hunt. Its Audio Animatronics are advanced and lifelike (well, assuming a big blue monster is somehow “lifelike”), with very fluid motions. Sets are immersive and include a ton of detail.

You begin to notice you're feeling better. The symptoms that brought you into therapy have diminished, you understand your issues in a way that makes sense and you're noticing practical improvements in your life. When you encounter a challenging situation, you can "hear" how the problem would be addressed in therapy. You predict your therapists' reactions to what you have to say, and you're mostly accurate. For the fourth week in a row, you notice yourself in session talking about how great things are. Then the thought comes to you: I wonder if I'm ready to stop?

I have been a fan of Nuno's since he first cooked at a small gastro pub in Shoreditch and was unknown and then several times at Viajante and was blown away, but this is so typical in London, people who know nothing about food or dont follow chefs get wind of a celebrity haunt and that's it, you can never experience one of your favourite chefs cooking again. Celebrity haunts come and go but excellent, innovative cooking speaks for itself and does not need to suck up to Z-listers. Annoyingly they have an intermittent schedule of opening up reservations so you can call every day and it will be fruitless. As all celebrity haunts, this too will fall out of favour, and when it does, your original customers will have given up on you and moved onto someone new. So sad that Nuno has sold his soul rather than made his cooking accessible to those that really enjoy it.

And as much as we love sharing classic movies with our kids, they tend to have plenty of old-fashioned gender roles. Before you push play, be sure you're ready to have a conversation with your kids -- both girls and boys -- about the messages these films are sending. (And if you want some strong-women alternatives, look here .)

Does nonplus perplex you? You aren't alone. Some people believe the "non" in nonplus means "not" and assume that to be nonplussed is to be calm and poised when just the opposite is true. If you are among the baffled, the word's history may clarify things. In Latin, non plus means "no more." In the earliest known uses, which date to the 16th century, it was used as a noun synonymous with quandary . Someone brought to a nonplus had reached an impasse in an argument and could say no more. Within a few decades of the first known use of the noun, people began using nonplus as a verb, and today it is often used in participial form with the meaning "perplexed" (as in "Joellen's nasty remark left us utterly nonplussed").
